**Position Overview:** Our Healthcare Fraud Investigator Specialist plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and measuring potential healthcare fraud and abuse. As a key member of our team, you'll conduct investigations, document activity, and refer issues to the appropriate party.

+ Conduct thorough investigations of potential healthcare fraud and abuse, including data mining and analysis to detect aberrancies and outliers in claims.

+ Develop new queries and reports to detect potential healthcare fraud and abuse, utilizing your analytical skills to identify trends and patterns.

+ Provide regular case updates on the progress of investigations, coordinating with Health Plans on recommendations and further actions and/or resolutions.

+ Assist with complex allegations of healthcare fraud, utilizing your expertise to identify and mitigate potential risks.

+ Prepare detailed reports on investigative findings for referral to Federal and State agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 1+ years of medical claim investigation, medical claim audit, medical claim analysis, or fraud investigation experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, medical coding, and terminology preferred.

**Estimated Salary:** $54,000.00 - $97,100.00 per year.
