  • Oversee inventory levels and restock the college supply room as necessary to prevent shortages or surpluses.
  • Maintain accurate records of all assets owned by the college, including their location, condition, and value.
  • Conduct an annual physical inventory to rectify any discrepancies.
  • Provide training to employees on procurement procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience with inventory and asset management.
  • Experience in using a procurement card and understanding related regulations.
  • Accuracy in data entry and maintenance of records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, procurement, and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience involving familiarity with Virginia State procurement regulations, eVA, PeopleSoft, and/or comparable systems.
