Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a medical telemetry environment, utilizing your clinical expertise to ensure efficient and effective care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in the Telemetry Unit.
  • Instruct patients and families on medication and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test and examination results.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
