Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Healthcare. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by a duly licensed practitioner.
  • Perform assessments and reassessments of patients' physical condition and nursing needs.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate patients' Plans of Care.
  • Set goals and take appropriate nursing action to meet those goals.
  • Coordinate patients' Cardiac Rehabilitation care through all phases of the interdisciplinary care plan.
  • Assist with Phase II and III Cardiac Rehabilitation protocols, including the use of telemetry, treadmills, and other equipment.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
  • Two years previous RN experience working with cardiac patients, preferably on a telemetry unit or coronary care unit.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
