About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from heart-related illnesses and conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
  • Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
  • Coordinate patient care through all phases of the interdisciplinary care plan.
  • Apply and utilize telemetry for monitoring of heart rate, regularity, and exercise tolerance.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
  • Two years previous RN experience working with cardiac patients, preferably on a telemetry unit or coronary care unit.
