Job Summary

Forward March Inc. is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our construction equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of construction equipment and delivery vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diagnose diesel and gas engines, and perform maintenance on drive trains.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic with a construction equipment background.
  • Experience with diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, and drive trains.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a good mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
  • Necessary tools to perform the job (7K-10K in value).
  • High quality control and a commitment to excellence.
  • Team-player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire for career growth.
