Key Responsibilities- Perform regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of construction equipment and delivery vehicles.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diagnose diesel and gas engines, and perform maintenance on drive trains.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in equipment maintenance and repair.
- 1-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic with a construction equipment background.
- Experience with diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, and drive trains.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a good mechanical aptitude.
- Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
- Necessary tools to perform the job (7K-10K in value).
