Job Description

The Railroad Conductor and Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of rail equipment within our rail yard. Key responsibilities include assisting the Train Engineer with locomotive movements, maintaining an orderly rail yard, managing rail track switches, connecting and disconnecting rail air hoses, leading job briefings, and ensuring compliance with HAZMAT and OSHA regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license
  • Prior conductor/engineer experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of the railroad industry from vocational education, apprenticeship, or on-the-job training
  • Ability to pass a vision and hearing test
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
