Job Summary

ACI Federal Defunct seeks a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of medical procedures, including cardiac, thoracic, vascular, burn, neuro, and pain management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia plans as needed to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure clear understanding of anesthesia plans and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
  • Board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiologists (ABA).
  • Successful completion of an internship and residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as an Anesthesiologist, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in managing cardiac, pediatric, critical care, and trauma patients.
  • Knowledge of clinical and administrative theories, principles, practices, and procedures underlying nursing practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions

The Anesthesiologist will work in a hospital setting, providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing various medical procedures. The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

The Anesthesiologist will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours. The schedule will be determined by the Department and may include working 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

The Anesthesiologist will be expected to maintain current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.

The Anesthesiologist will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to the standards of performance for all Health Care Workers (HCWs) provided by contractor.
