Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings. Your role will involve providing transportation, daily living skills, and guidance on developmental goals, as well as supporting individuals with living skills such as personal hygiene and grooming.
Responsibilities- Transport individuals to community outings, medical appointments, and shopping
- Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
- Provide guidance on developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
- Support individuals with living skills, including personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Successful clearance of background checks
- Reliable and responsible attitude
- Compassionate approach and commitment to quality
- Full, part-time, and as-needed schedules available
