Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components and systems using CAD models and blueprints.
  • Verify assemblies for conformance to engineering requirements and document any nonconformities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to inspect components and assemblies.
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Perform close-out, first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace inspection, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, 3D modeling, and nonconformance systems.
  • Experience with electronic and mechanical testing and inspections using portable measuring devices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Airframe and Power-plant certificate (A&P) or ASQ CQA certification.
  • Experience working with aerospace propulsion assembly installation and testing processes and procedures.
  • Practical experience working within quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001).
  • Strong understanding of safety programs and OSHA regulations and requirements.
