The Expense Management Director will be primarily responsible for budgeting, reviewing, and analyzing all expenditures across the Life and Annuity entities and other companies within the organization. Key responsibilities include developing, presenting, and overseeing financial budgets with cost center managers, ensuring all budgets and financial processes align with company goals, collaborating with senior management, project managers, and cross-departmental leadership to set budget goals, evaluating budget proposals and financial requests for viability, forecasting financial needs during the year, analyzing actual expenses compared to budget, and providing reporting to cost center managers and senior management.

To be successful in this role, you will need 7+ years of financial experience, including budgeting and analysis, a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, strong critical thinking and analytical skills, strong communication skills and deadline-oriented, and the ability to foster working relationships throughout the organization at all levels. Workday and Adaptive planning experience is preferred, as well as advanced experience with Microsoft Excel for financial forecasting and reporting tools.
