Job Summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and training customers on our Video Relay Service (VRS) equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure VRS equipment at customer locations
  • Provide training and support to customers on the use of VRS equipment
  • Travel to customer locations to perform installations and training
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Participate in events and training sessions to educate customers and stakeholders on the benefits of Sorenson VRS
Requirements
  • Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Extensive experience in installing and configuring VRS equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of firewalls and network configurations
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and sit for long periods of time
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel and may involve working in a variety of environments, including customer homes and businesses. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
