About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician IV to join our team at Canon Solutions America. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their Canon-supported products are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues with Canon-supported products, using established procedures and protocols.
  • Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed reports on product failure trends and serviceability issues, providing valuable insights for our team.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring their Canon products meet their expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including Field Service Reports and Expense Reports, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to less senior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within our team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Canon products and technologies, ensuring you have the expertise to provide exceptional service to our customers.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Field Service Technician IV who possesses:

  • A strong background in electronics or electrical engineering, with a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as you will be required to travel to customer sites.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceptional customer service.
