We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our Clinical Trials Office team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent to support the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to create job specifications and descriptions that meet the needs of our organization
- Source and recruit top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial application to onboarding
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to identify the most qualified candidates
- Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to stakeholders
- Attend industry events and career fairs to promote our organization and attract top talent
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
- 3-5 years of senior-level experience in recruitment and human resources
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and source diverse passive talent
- Strong knowledge of interview techniques and effective resume evaluation methods
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to create presentation and reports
- Exceptional time-management, attention-to-detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to execute on individual assignments and projects independently and/or collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
- Ability to sell the organization to candidates
- Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive issues and information
- Ability to project a knowledgeable and professional image to clients, candidates, and colleagues
- Technically savvy with experience with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office suite
- Proven ability to work in an environment with high visibility and the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations independently
- Track record of flawless execution and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated experience fostering a diverse and inclusive environment and an expressed commitment to do so while at the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Advanced recruiting techniques experience and strong executive-level facilitation skills
- SHRM Certified
