Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Nurse to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our Patient Care Services Staff, you will provide expert consultation and leadership to our nursing team in the Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support staff to develop clinical skills and problem-solve in complex patient care situations
  • Provide direct care in selected complex patient care situations
  • Communicate effectively to reach consensual decisions with the care team in the best interest of the patient
  • Assist staff in developing clinical skills and managing complex patient and system-related issues
Requirements
  • Current NYS Nursing license; BSN preferred
  • Pediatric/Critical Care certification preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of recent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics
