MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at UF Health Shands. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnosis and treatment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures for diagnosis and treatment, utilizing independent judgment and initiative.
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and efficient patient throughput.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
- Prefer experienced MRI Technologists with a strong background in cross-sectional anatomy.
- Prefer satisfactory completion of an accredited MRI program with advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility.
- Must have current BLS certification and pass the ARRT or ARMRIT advanced examination for MRI certification within one year of employment.
