About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures for patients, ensuring accurate and diagnostic-quality images.
  • Operate MRI equipment, setting technical factors to produce high-quality images according to radiology practice standards.
  • Relay images and clinical information to physicians for interpretation.
  • Assist with inventory management and patient scheduling.
  • Take backup calls to provide after-hours high-volume coverage.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification, with Advanced level in MRI required within 6 months of hire date.
  • Florida State Registered General Radiographer certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program with completion of MRI training.
  • 6 months of related experience.
