Job Title: Neurology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a multi-specialty practice in Bronx, New York.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and patient observations to diagnose and manage neurological conditions.
  • Record patients' medical histories and symptoms to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Create and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Order and administer diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
  • Monitor and operate medical equipment to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
  • Diagnose and manage a range of neurological conditions, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
  • Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals and families to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Train patients and their families to manage and prevent neurological conditions.
Requirements:
  • Active NY State License as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Board Certification in Neurology or a related field.
  • Residents, fellows, and new graduates are welcome to apply.
