We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at D-H Lebanon-MHMH. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing patient assignments and flow within the inpatient care unit, providing oversight of direct patient care, and serving as a lead, clinical resource, role model, and extension of management to uphold institutional priorities, policies, and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Assigns staff to patients per current unit workload, considering pod acuity, staff experience and competency, learning needs, and patient acuity/complexity.
- Performance Management: Participates in performance management of staff members, including coaching, preparation of performance evaluations, and the performance management process.
- Conflict Resolution: Addresses conflicts as they may arise, assists/mediates to maintain smooth operations of the unit, and involves unit leadership or House Supervisor as appropriate.
- Admissions and Discharges: Facilitates timely admissions and discharges to optimize clinical capacity.
- Other Duties: Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Experience: 2 years of progressive responsibility within an acute care setting required.
- Certifications: Specialty certification preferred.
- Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills required. Demonstrated abilities with problem-solving, leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility, and teamwork.
- Licensure: Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or higher per unit-specific requirements.
