Job Summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, setting up, and repairing our Ready Mix Concrete plants and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, maintain, and service Ready Mix Concrete Plants and associated equipment.
  • Assist in the upkeep, maintenance, and safe operation of plant equipment, including air compressors, cylinders, solenoid valves, lubricators, regulators, and filters.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery during both operating and non-operating periods.
  • Work in confined spaces (training provided).
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and repair manuals.
  • Maintain records of work performed and parts replaced.
  • Prepare and stock replacement parts and materials for maintenance.
  • Ensure all tools are in safe, working condition, whether at the facility or on service trucks.
  • Maintain and repair facility buildings as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-3 Years Maintenance experience.
  • Preparation for and welding of mild steel.
  • High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Formal technical training is preferred.
  • Technical experience with Ready Mix Concrete plant setup and repair.
  • Intermediate computer skills, such as opening and closing files, data entry, creating and modifying spreadsheets and word documents, saving files, sending and receiving emails with attachments, etc.
  • Possess a valid driver license.
