Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Goodwin Procter LLP. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our networking and telephony infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions to optimize stability, availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Monitor and control infrastructure processes, and implement system security to provide stable and secure systems platforms.
  • Assist with or conduct the implementation of new or additional infrastructure technology to augment and improve infrastructure service, both locally and remotely.
  • Assist with resource and workload management and capacity planning.
  • Effectively manage computing equipment and infrastructure software life-cycles, providing input into budget preparation.
  • Provide full infrastructure design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment, and top-level support ownership of computing infrastructure technologies.
Requirements
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
  • Aruba Wireless (Campus and Remote) certification.
  • Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager certification.
  • Cisco Telepresence/Tandberg video server and end points certification.
  • Cisco WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams certification.
  • Microsoft DNS, WINS, and DHCP certification.
  • Cisco switches and routing solutions, including IOS and Nexus product lines, Routing/Voice protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MGCP, SIP, H323), and Network communication protocols (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, RPC, AAA (RADIUS/TACACS) 802.
