Critical Care Nurse

As a member of the Critical Care Response Transport Team, the Registered Nurse provides patient assessment, critical nursing care, and transport services to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport
- Provide excellent patient care, safe lifting and transferring of patients, and operate emergency vehicles safely
- Adhere to company policies, complete documentation, and respond to dispatch instructions
- Maintain safety standards, participate in continuing education, and keep vehicles and stations clean
- Maintain equipment and supplies, communicate effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment
- Ability to calculate weight and volume ratios and read small print
- Ability to read and converse in English
- Ability to read road maps, street signs, and address numbers
- Ability to document information in writing in the prescribed format
- Ability to learn, use, and be proficient in all patient care equipment
- Ability to understand and retain instructions in a timely and accurate manner
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- At least 3 years' current experience in a critical care or emergency department setting
- Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire
- Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred
- Valid driver's license with no more than 2 incidents on MVR
- Patient transport experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- EMT-B bridge course will be offered upon hire
- Prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
- Ability to bend and stoop, ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, possess hand-eye-foot coordination and color recognition, good manual dexterity, with the ability to perform all tasks related to Emergency Medical Services Duty

Wages:Our wage range is $101,021.00-$171,291.00 annually, depending on length of licensure. Shifts are generally 24 hours, so overtime is built in for fulltime schedules.
