Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Response Transport Team. As a member of this team, you will provide patient assessment, critical nursing care, and transport services to patients. Your expertise will be essential in supervising patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent patient care and safe lifting and transferring of patients.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and adhere to company policies.
  • Complete documentation and respond to dispatch instructions.
  • Maintain safety standards, participate in continuing education, and keep vehicles and stations clean.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, communicate effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
  • Ability to calculate weight and volume ratios and read small print.
  • Ability to read and converse in English.
  • Ability to read road maps, street signs, and address numbers.
  • Ability to document information in writing in the prescribed format.
  • Ability to learn, use, and be proficient in all patient care equipment.
  • Ability to understand and retain instructions in a timely and accurate manner.
Education and Experience
  • Active and unencumbered RN license.
  • At least 3 years' current experience in a critical care or emergency department setting.
  • Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire.
  • Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than 2 incidents on MVR.
  • Patient transport experience preferred.
  • BSN preferred.
  • EMT-B bridge course will be offered upon hire.

Compensation

Our wage range is $101,021.00-$171,291.00 annually, depending on length of licensure. Shifts are generally 24 hours, so overtime is built in for fulltime schedules.
