About the Position: We are seeking a talented Research Cyberinfrastructure Architect to join our Research Cyberinfrastructure group at the University of Washington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating Linux-based HPC clusters and storage systems to support research efforts across the university.

Responsibilities: As a Research Cyberinfrastructure Architect, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing HPC clusters and storage systems to meet research needs.\
  • Providing technical support to researchers and IT staff on HPC-related issues.\
  • Developing and maintaining scripts and tools to automate administrative tasks.\
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of HPC resources into the university's IT infrastructure.\-

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in Linux system administration.\
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\-
