Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Contract Specialist to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. As a key member of our Procurement Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Professional Service Providers, and HUB Staff Associates to ensure timely completion of contract functions.
  • Prepare and review contract documents for quality control and compliance with state procurement regulations and PDC processes.
  • Update Contracts Database and LBB website with contract award information, including database entry and report generation.
  • Schedule and coordinate multi-task projects in an evolving and deadline-driven environment.
  • Provide technical, contracting, and accounting support for PDC staff, working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Windows PC, Word, Excel, Outlook, Define, UTWorks, and the contracts database.
