About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team. As a Medical Rehabilitation Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalized care to patients in their homes, promoting optimal functional outcomes and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and interventions.
- Provide cost-effective treatments that improve clients' mobility and reduce the need for medications and surgery.
- Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally, promote healthy lifestyles, and enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Evaluate effects, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- P.T.A Certification for the state of TX
- CPR Certification
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Home Health or Rehab experience preferred
- Multi-disciplinary collaboration for patient care
- Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- A friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments
- A competitive salary range of $45,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience
