Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall function of the kitchen, including cooking, serving, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Plan and prepare menus, order food and kitchen supplies, and manage inventory within budget
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Collaborate with program leadership to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality resident care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of experience in a food service field, including cooking and meal planning
  • Completion of ServSafe Food Manager Certification within 3 months of hire
  • Preferred candidates will have an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts and 3 years of experience in a food service field
