Join a pioneering company that's revolutionizing the energy industry with its innovative iron-air battery technology. As a Senior Battery Algorithm Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of clean energy.

Role Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled algorithm engineer to drive SOC/SOH estimation for our iron-air batteries. You'll collaborate with our Controls & Firmware team to establish an optimal framework for state estimation models and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop customized test protocols to characterize and validate models and algorithms
  • Determine sensor requirements for optimized battery estimation & control
  • Collaborate with the Controls & Firmware team to define key requirements for battery management system (BMS) software
  • Support and drive the definition of technological roadmaps for iron-air battery algorithms
Requirements
  • M.S in engineering with 2+ years of experience or Ph.D. in engineering with experience in battery modeling and/or controls
  • Solid understanding of battery modeling, estimation, and control methods
  • Demonstrated experience in controls-oriented models and degradation models
  • Expertise in Matlab/Simulink and COMSOL
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
