As a Senior Battery Modeling Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing our beginning-of-life and degradation cell physics models, driving product direction, and collaborating across teams to shape the future of energy storage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the reduced-order cell performance model
  • Inform product direction with model recommendations
  • Collaborate with R&D and Systems teams
  • Work with experimental teams to gather new data
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field; PhD preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in modeling electrochemical systems
  • Finite element analysis experience with COMSOL preferred
  • Scripting abilities with Python experience preferred
  • First-principle knowledge of engineering, chemistry, and physics fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
