We're seeking a highly skilled Sr Battery Modeling Engineer to join our Cell Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll work on cutting-edge analysis techniques for cell performance and use that analysis to inform cell design. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the reduced order cell performance model
  • Drive product direction based on model recommendations
  • Collaborate across different scales, including R&D and Systems teams
  • Work with experimental teams to get new types of data needed to improve analysis
What We're Looking For:
  • Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field; PhD preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in modeling electrochemical systems
  • Experience in finite element analysis with COMSOL experience preferred
  • Scripting abilities with Python experience preferred
  • First principle knowledge of engineering, chemistry, & physics fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
