Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc. as a Telephone Patient Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties for physicians and other members of the clinic, including phone contact and direct contact with patients and other clients.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments for the Duluth office, which includes Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, Nephrology, and Endocrinology.
  • Work insurance referrals required for appointments and obtain prior office notes for consultations.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
  • Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetic or numeric systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of computer experience in a medical office setting.
Work Environment
  • 8am-5pm work hours.
  • No weekend requirements.
  • No on-call requirements.
