Job Summary

As a Digital Content Creator III at James R. Glidewell Dental Ceramics, you will be responsible for creating custom websites using theme frameworks with custom HTML/CSS, building sites using WordPress CMS and other platforms as appropriate. You will serve as an advanced-level front-end developer to deploy content, maintain and modify the front-end of the Glidewell website in Adobe CMS, and maintain and update the e-commerce's front-end UI and inform the development team of any bugs or technical issues identified. Additionally, you will review data gathered from analytical tools to suggest future UX modifications, identify, suggest, and create appropriate, branded design concepts for content across various digital channels, and create visual layout and templates for pages and sites with clear navigational schemes. You will also create all content, article pages, article images, and banner images for digital iterations of Chairside magazine, create and maintain CE tests for websites, produce design assets for use in digital marketing channels, and evaluate third-party requirements and technical specifications to ensure consistency with Glidewell brands. Furthermore, you will optimize custom graphic elements and iconography as required to ensure proper structure and compatibility with modern browsers and devices, source related imagery to create the client's story in a compelling and impactful way, and create and maintain a database of current and future design assets to ensure efficiency and consistency. You will also modify PHP templates as needed, understand the structure and correct way to modify within WordPress and other platforms, apply a creative eye and user experience (UX) awareness to projects, test and improve site usability and performance on a variety of internet browsers by identifying and correcting issues, address and repair bugs or other performance issues discovered in live sites, ensure quality and consistency of designs across channels, develop or adhere to brand guidelines established in other mediums, study current and emerging technology trends, make recommendations to management regarding software platforms, APIs, plug-ins, and other tools that may help to increase quality or efficiency of content, engage with other departments to assess projects, needs, and timelines, participate in planning meetings and/or conference calls as necessary, track time and project progress through organizations system of record, and perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
