Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor student progress and engagement through the learning management system (LMS).
  • Proactively reach out to students who may be falling behind or struggling with the course content.
  • Provide regular feedback on assignments and projects, ensuring timely and constructive responses.
  • Facilitate virtual office hours, discussion forums, and study groups to foster a collaborative learning environment.
  • Encourage and motivate students to stay engaged and committed to their learning journey.
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding.
  • Track and report on student performance and progression to the program director.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and communications.
  • Answer all student questions as they arise to ensure student understanding and completion of assignments.
  • Related duties, initiatives, and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in networking, including hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Must possess active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Additional Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
  • Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience.
  • Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Power Point etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
