Make an Impact

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care Center at Community Howard Hospital. This role involves caring for patients with chronic wounds that have not healed within a 30-day period. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, conduct initial assessments, manage documentation, and oversee discharge instructions and dressing changes, while also taking on case management responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is mandatory, with graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by the National League for Nursing (NLN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Indiana, as recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), is essential.
  • Previous experience in Med/Surg nursing is preferred.
  • Experience in Wound/Ostomy care is essential.
  • Certification in Wound Care or Ostomy is preferred.
