Job Overview

Position: Production Supervisor – Full Time – 2nd Shift – 4:30PM – 1AM

We are a vibrant organization in the Collision and Auto Repair sectors, managing a remanufacturing facility dedicated to automotive lighting solutions. We are in search of a driven and proficient Production Supervisor to oversee a team of 8-12 staff members. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing material flow, ensuring workplace safety, maintaining quality standards, and executing operational protocols to fulfill and surpass our clients' delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct daily operations encompassing inventory management, material handling, quality assurance, and shipping logistics.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with processes and minimize inefficiencies.
  • Adhere to safety regulations to foster a secure and hazard-free workplace.
  • Uphold quality control measures, ensure inventory precision, and meet daily production targets.
  • Guarantee timely order fulfillment to align with customer delivery timelines.
  • Assist in the creation of on-the-job training programs.
  • Support the Operations Manager/General Manager as required.
  • Prepare and submit daily shift reports to site management.
  • Ensure cross-training of employees and maintain a consistent job rotation.
  • Verify employee compliance with production tracking systems and objectives.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for the facility.
  • Maintain quality standards through weekly team meetings.
  • Guide, mentor, and train team members in production processes.
  • Manage the ordering and organization of raw materials for the production unit.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in operations, managing a team of 20 or more.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management, distribution, shipping, or materials handling is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong, positive relationships to enhance business outcomes and address quality control challenges.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8-10 hours.
  • Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, both below and above waist level.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature fluctuations, with unrestricted access to all areas of the facility.
