In the role of Operations Manager, you will be essential to our organization, overseeing all operational activities at the branch, including sales, service, logistics, and strategic business development. Your contributions will ensure a streamlined, safe, and organized branch operation that benefits our team, clients, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all operational functions to achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Promote our organizational culture and comply with policies established by Executive Management.
  • Stay updated on new product offerings and modifications to existing products.
  • Assist in and engage with marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Support daily operations, including order processing, customer inquiries, product procurement, deliveries, and financial reconciliations.
  • Prioritize exceptional customer service and seek opportunities to enhance market presence and share.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of managing a distribution center within the Pool industry; experience with construction materials is a plus.
  • Educational background or experience in overseeing a multi-million-dollar operation of this nature, with relevant and up-to-date knowledge.
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Dedication to mentoring and developing team members while ensuring outstanding service throughout the branch.
  • High-performance standards, evidenced by effective leadership and setting a positive example.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
  • Forklift experience is advantageous; capability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system, preferably Agility software (not required but highly preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
  • Ability to pass a criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
