Role Summary

The Material Planning Specialist is tasked with overseeing inventory levels to promote production efficiency. This encompasses generating purchase requisitions, liaising with various departments, and managing production supplies. The role also involves data entry, material tracking, and executing administrative responsibilities within the materials management division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine required materials and generate purchase requisitions
  • Collaborate with other departments to align with production goals
  • Issue work orders to adhere to production timelines
  • Manage production supplies and evaluate inventory levels
  • Adjust inventories of materials allocated to job orders
  • Conduct administrative tasks for the Production Control division

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in material inventory and scheduling
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Competencies Required

  • Exhibit skills in customer focus, problem-solving, integrity, and functional expertise

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Work Schedule

4-10 hour days, totaling 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime as necessary.
