Fiber Optic Network Specialist

Pangaea Command Construction is seeking a highly skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team. As a Fiber Splicer, you will be responsible for the preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable within telecommunications systems.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and splice fiber optic cable to ensure high-quality connections
- Work with telecommunications network structures to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Use OTDR and fusion splicing equipment to test and verify fiber optic connections
- Read and interpret fiber matrices to ensure accurate installation
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
- 2+ years of experience in fiber optic construction and installation
- Proficiency in using fiber tools and test equipment, including OTDR and fusion splicer
- Knowledge of telecommunications network structures and fiber optic cable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
