Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality results, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our ranks. As a Distribution Systems Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards
  • Perform engineering calculations, including structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop, and flicker
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, such as Substation, Protection & Controls, and Civil Structural
  • Prepare forestry trimming requests, facilitate permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, and develop a Bill of Materials (BOM)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (EE or ME preferred)
  • 0-2+ years of relevant experience in design engineering, preferably with an electric utility or consulting company
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
