Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and empathetic Direct Support Professionals to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, and guidance to individuals with mental, intellectual, and physical disabilities. Your primary goal will be to empower our clients to live as independently and comfortably as possible, while maintaining their dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, promoting their comfort, safety, and personal growth.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.
  • Engage in light housekeeping tasks and participate in community activities, such as outdoor walks and social events.
  • Transport individuals to appointments and activities outside the home.
  • Document progress, milestones, and action steps to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

  • Person-centered, patient, and kind approach to care.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Observant and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Positive role-model and team player, committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment.
  • Computer skills for documentation and data entry.
  • 18 years or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
