  • Review accounts for patient responsibility, contractual, and/or discount arrangements.
  • Review and correct remittance advises, explanation of benefits from insurance companies, or any other correspondence assigned.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Some college or technical training preferred.
  • Hospital or similar medical facility experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
  • Emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
  • Computer literate with spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
