One Medical is a pioneering primary care solution dedicated to transforming the healthcare experience. Our mission is to make quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
We're not your average doctor's office. We've been delivering seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns for over fifteen years.
In February 2023, we marked a significant milestone by joining Amazon. Together, we aim to deliver exceptional healthcare to more consumers, employers, care team members, and health networks, resulting in better health outcomes.
The OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our growing team at One Medical's Duboce Triangle office in San Francisco. As one of the first ultrasound technologists, you'll have the opportunity to bring more convenience and world-class care to our members.
You will demonstrate ownership of ultrasound practice at One Medical through the provision of high-quality imaging care in a progressive and human-centered environment.
Job DescriptionUnder minimal supervision, you will perform and record diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including extremity and venous, abdominal, intravaginal/pelvic (non-OB), soft tissue, scrotal, thyroid, lumps, and bumps.
You will ensure that ultrasound tests are of high diagnostic quality and effectively communicate exam procedures to members while preparing and positioning them for diagnostic imaging.
You will maintain member records in One Medical's in-house EMR and image storage platform, proactively inspect and maintain imaging equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and communicate with office leadership regarding any equipment needs.
Collaboration with providers, administrative assistants, phlebotomists, and telerad vendor partners is essential to provide the best patient experience.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of full-time experience practicing as an Ultrasound Technician
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program within the United States and corresponding knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Current Registration in American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, with certification in abdominal and pelvic examination
- Current BLS certification required
The estimated salary range for this position is $66,800 to $71,000 per year, based on a full-time schedule. This amount may vary depending on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional compensation may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
The total compensation package for this position may also include RSUs and benefits. For more information, please refer to our website.
