About One Medical

At One Medical, we're on a mission to transform healthcare by making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. We're challenging the industry status quo by delivering seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns.

We're building a diverse, driven, and empathetic team that thrives in an environment where everyone can grow and succeed. As one of the first ultrasound technologists on our growing team, you'll have the opportunity to bring more of what our members love and expect: convenient access to world-class care.

The Opportunity

As an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound specialist at One Medical, you will demonstrate ownership for ultrasound practice through the provision of high-quality imaging care in a progressive and human-centered environment. You'll work under minimal supervision, performing and recording diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring tests are of high diagnostic quality, and effectively explaining exams to members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and record diagnostic ultrasound procedures including extremity and venous, abdominal, intravaginal/pelvic (non-OB), soft tissue, scrotal, thyroid, lumps, and bumps
  • Ensure ultrasound tests are of high diagnostic quality
  • Effectively explain exams and communicate procedures to members
  • Maintain member records in One Medical's in-house EMR and image storage platform
  • Proactively inspect and maintain imaging equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and communicate with office leadership
  • Collaborate with providers, administrative assistants, phlebotomists, and telerad vendor partners

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-time experience practicing as an Ultrasound Technician
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program within the United States
  • Current Registration in American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, with certification in abdominal and pelvic examination
  • Current BLS certification required

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Our base hourly range for this role is $66.80 to $71.00 per hour based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.

Location

This opportunity is located at our Duboce Triangle office in San Francisco, CA. Travel to other offices in the area may be necessary, but we prioritize candidates with a willingness to be flexible regarding location.

Schedule and Hours

You'll work a standard 40-hour week, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PDT, with the potential requirement to work some weekend shifts in the future. We value work-life balance and provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
