Job Summary

As a Database Systems Architect at Medical Priority Consultants, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, secure databases in support of company operations. This role operates on a hybrid work model, located in the U.S. in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, installation, configuration, and upgrading of database management systems and related products.
Develop and implement comprehensive database performance tuning and optimization strategies.
Design and oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
Implement advanced security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with industry regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, providing expert-level support.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of database administration experience.
Expert level skills with MS SQL Server databases.
Strong experience in server-side development, including web services, WCF, and API.
Strong experience with SQL, C#, and JavaScript.
Strong analytical abilities and customer service attitude.
Proficiency with versioning tools, such as SVN or GIT.
