Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator II to join our team at Medical Priority Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL Server databases and data structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, installation, configuration, and upgrading of database management systems and related products.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive database performance tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Design and oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Implement advanced security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with industry regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, providing expert-level support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of database administration experience.
  • Expert level skills with MS SQL Server databases.
  • Strong experience in server-side development, including web services, WCF, and API.
  • Strong experience with SQL, C#, and JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Strong customer service attitude.
  • Proficiency with versioning tools, such as SVN or GIT.
