Job Summary:
South Florida State College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Medical Assisting courses, including front office skills, clinical, pharmacology, and medical office lab skills, for Highlands Career Institute students at the Highlands Campus.
About the Position:
This is a part-time instructor position that requires a certified medical assistant, LPN or RN with a minimum of 2 years' related experience. The instructor will be responsible for teaching Medical Assisting courses, including front office skills, clinical, pharmacology, and medical office lab skills.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Medical Assisting courses, including front office skills, clinical, pharmacology, and medical office lab skills
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of Highlands Career Institute students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental and college-wide activities
Requirements:
- Certified medical assistant, LPN or RN
- Minimum of 2 years' related experience
- Ability to teach and communicate effectively with students
- Ability to work in a team environment
