About the Role

This position will be based at our G.D. S.p.A. facility in the United States and will report directly to our G.D. S.p.A. Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activity of G.D. S.p.A., working closely with the business groups and Site Controller.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including accounting records, financial statements, and budgeting and forecasting reports.
  • Perform ongoing analysis and reporting of actual performance to budgets and forecasts.
  • Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research, and perform analytical studies.
  • Help to create and maintain robust industrial control and cost accounting procedures and analysis.
  • Support the assessment and maintenance of hourly rates and cost run procedures.
  • Partner with local and corporate business management to improve results.
  • Responsible for all month-end reporting requirements for G.D. S.p.A.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years in an accounting role.
  • Financial software skills, including Excel and manufacturing ERP.
  • Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-starter with initiative and willingness to learn and participate in new projects.
