Job Title: Case Aide

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Case Aide to join our team at Service Access & Management, Inc. As a Case Aide, you will work closely with Caseworkers to provide support and assistance to families and children in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance of case records and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Support families and children in completing necessary paperwork and forms.
  • Collect and report data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Transport and supervise visits with children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist in obtaining birth certificates and Social Security cards for families and children.
  • Complete interstate paperwork for placement and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with home visits, transports, and placements of children in Foster Care.
  • Support families and children in arranging appointments and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Assist in obtaining records and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Make extra home visits for Caseworkers and provide support as needed.
  • Assist with Holiday donations and deliveries to families.
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Assist with monthly loop visits and ongoing Family Engagement Initiatives.
  • Attend required training and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a paraprofessional in a similar position and 2 years of college-level coursework, including 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related field.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training, including 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related field and 1 year of experience in a similar position performing case aide functions.
Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods working on a computer in an open office environment, comfortable communicating through virtual technology, and travel throughout the assigned region may occur and may be in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
