Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Regional Nurse Consultant to join our esteemed healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular consultations with designated facilities, focusing on Resident Care, State & Federal Surveys, Regulatory Compliance, and Clinical Services.
  • Drive clinical outcomes by implementing policies and procedures while ensuring adherence to State & Federal regulations.
  • Assess and evaluate clinical services within assigned facilities to pinpoint areas requiring clinical enhancement.
  • Identify opportunities for clinical development and improvement.
  • Serve as a Regional Mentor, providing coaching and support to local facilities.
  • Organize regional training sessions and professional development opportunities for Directors of Nursing at least quarterly.
  • Offer guidance and support throughout the survey process, including preparation, drafting corrective action plans, and monitoring compliance.
Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience as a Regional Nurse Consultant or Regional Director of Nursing in a Long-Term Care setting.
  • Possession of a valid RN License.
  • Willingness to travel extensively is required.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare environment.
  • Thorough understanding of State & Federal guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
