Job Title: UX Designer

We are seeking a skilled UX Designer to join our team at Raft Company Website. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our user-centric mindset and creating engaging interfaces that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role:

The UX Designer will be responsible for harnessing Human-Centered Design principles to create minimum viable products (MVPs) through deliberate prototyping and testing. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to explore both qualitative and quantitative aspects of user behavior and articulate pertinent feedback and design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop user interfaces that are intuitive, elegant, and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure smooth handoffs and effective communication throughout the research – design – development – delivery lifecycle.
  • Participate in UX strategy and build an understanding and empathy for our users.
  • Balance user feedback with technical constraints and stakeholder objectives.
  • Adhere to design and accessibility standards and usability best practices.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in UX and/or product design.
  • Proficient experience across the UX method spectrum, including visual design skills, detangling complexity, and communicating with developers.
  • Experience collaborating with a cross-functional team and participating in UX strategy.
  • Aptitude for balancing user feedback with technical constraints and stakeholder objectives.
  • Demonstrated adherence to design and accessibility standards and usability best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or courses in UX Research and Design.
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools like FIGMA, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
